This is is a very lovely and quiet hotel. The staff was very friendly and were helpful with assisting us with directions and making arrangements for bus tours etc. The courtyard is just beautiful with a generous breakfast buffet.
We stayed at the Ponte Sisto for five days in June and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. What a delightful hotel! Our fifth-floor room had every amenity and overlooked the courtyard. We didn't hear the people on the street or on the bridge at all. Breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of delicious fresh fruit and made-to-order coffee. Happy hour at the roof garden was a wonderful extra with fine wines and superb snacks. Finally, the staff was very friendly and always helpful, a real plus for first-time visitors to Rome. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. It's location, which is a short distance from almost every attraction, is ideal for those who plan to walk around the city. I encourage anyone looking for a fabulous experience in Rome at a relatively modest price to stay at the Ponte Sisto.
I was delighted with my entire experience at Hotel Ponte Sisto, from the staff, to the accommodations, the care taken to the property, the location. Would highly recommend it and definitely would stay there again.
Excellent hotel. Wonderful staff who could not have been more helpful. Great location.
Excellent experience. Staff very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean. Would stay there again
I was very happy: location was good, room clean and large, breakfast tasty. You cannot expect more at this reasonable price!
Our stay was absloutely the best one in Rome for years. Thank you for everyone of you. You did it. We are very grateful for you. The garden for breakfast was very comfortable and nice, and the breakfast just supoerbe. The roof terrace also gave us a place to reflect on the day tours we had- what a nice place to sit down and see the beautiful Rome. The hotel personnel was a top qualified group of team players and direction. I am very happy and the whole group of mine. We were six family memebers.( rooms 307, 306, 106, 105). The location is perfect for us to take long walking tours in old city since we are very interested in the history and art of the town.. We would liketo give you 6 stars (not 4 as on the brouchure) for the stay at your hotel, Sure we come back next summer for another 6 days.
We were thrilled to receive an upgrade to a lovely suite. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. A+
Friendly, helpful staff--good breakfast, nice rooms, great location. This is our second stay at Ponte Sisto and we hope to return again.
great stay...amazing location, clean room, and early check-in
Excellent facility. Employees were very helpful in giving directions, finding taxis and arranging airport transportation. Breakfast in the courtyard was fabulous.
The Hotel Ponte Sisto was outstanding. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful when we required assistance. The hotel is beautiful and well-kept. The roof-top bar is great!
Perfect, thank you very much for everything!
The property was beautiful and well maintained. It had the feel of an era gone by (lovely balconies with colorful plantings); but the amenities of today (plush beds with premium linen). The staff was efficient, friendly, and very welcoming. The roof top patio had breath taking views day and, especial, at night with a wonderful happy hour each day. The location was near campo de fiori, piazza and market place, across the river from dining al fresco and a twenty minute walk from the Coliseum, the Vatican, and the Trevi Fountain. Could not have asked for more.
great hotel; really nice rooms that were new, clean and a good size. courtyard and rooftop terrace and bar were also big plusses. staff was friendly and helpful. ideal neighborhood. would definitely stay hear again.
I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was at Hotel Ponte Sisto. The location was great with the Ponte Sisto bridge an easy landmark for our map challenged walking tours. The gelato right across the street was wonderful and my husband loved the little coffee shop as well. Piazza Campo d'Fiori is very close with nice cafe's and shopping. I would recommend this hotel. It does not meet all luxury standards we were accustomed to on this trip (coffee maker in the room, pool, etc), but the charm of the courtyard & rooftop lounge were wonderful.
This is our fifth stay at Ponte Sisto. The Belvedere Rm was terrific
Wonderful room excellent breakfast incredible location to walk and explore Rome
This great little boutique hotel was recommended to us by a friend and we could not be happier that we took his advice and stayed here. We were traveling with our daughter and when we arrived they gladly upgraded us to a 2 room suite for no extra charge. The room was very nice, the location is fabulous and close to everything we wanted to see as well as great restaurants, shopping and beautiful walking trips. The roof-too deck is a beautiful place to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset over Rome and the breakfast in the lovely garden is worth the small extra charge. We will definitely recommend the Hotel Ponte Sisto to our friends and will stay here again when we come back to Rome.
The room was Amazing! I had a gorgeous courtyard view. I was extremely pleased! Breakfast was delicious and well presented also! I give it a 5!!!!
Great location, clean hotel, and staff was very friendly. Thank you!
Great location and great room. Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Front desk staff occasionally cranky. I would stay here again.
Lovely hotel in perfect location for seeing Rome. Delicious breakfast, comfortable room. Roof terrace has fantastic views over the city
The hotel is very convenient. The staff is pleasant, available, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Staff were obliging, efficient and friendly. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was handy to everything we sought to do in Rome. Tiny convenience store next door was a real surprise. Everything from bandaids to Parma ham and more.
Thank you so much for making our 2 night stay in Rome so wonderful. Thank you very much for upgrading us to a suite....the room was so spacious and clean. Your breakfast buffet was delicious!! We will stay at your hotel again if we ever visit Rome in the future.
We stayed at Hotel Ponte Sisto last week. The hotel is very conveniently located between Piazza Farnese and Trastevere, just off Ponte Sisto, one of the most beautiful spots in Rome. It is an old fashioned hotel, far from being a hip, design hotel, but it is very clean and well maintained. The staff is efficient and professional. The inner court is very beautiful. Our standard room was not very big, but was well furnished and had a large bathroom. We asked for a quiet room and we were given a room on the third floor, overlooking the gardens of the beautiful palace next door: bright and extremely quiet. Quality for money during one of the busiest long week-ends in Rome was outstanding. There is one thing that made me want to write this review. We left our room early in the morning and left a small luggage at the concierge. When we went back to collect it, my husband was handed out an envelope and told that we forgot something in the room. Inside the envelope were my diamond earrings... I didn't realize I left them on the bedside table... The Filipino lady in charge of cleaning the room, Joyce, returned them to the reception and the reception returned them to me. I'd like to thank very much to all the staff and Joyce in particular for her honesty. This is not something one can count on, but it is something that I take in very high consideration.
I really enjoyed my stay. Our rooms were quiet and comfortable, the location of the hotel is perfect, and the staff was very helpful and kind. I am looking forward to returning in June!
Lovely hotel. Fantastic location. Very friendly & helpful staff . Will definitely return & will recommend to friends/family
We loved the Ponte Sisto. The breakfast was outstanding the staff kind and helpful. The hotel rooms are very quiet and the location is superb for accessing the city and also crossing over to Trastevere on the pedestrian Ponte Sisto bridge. The rooms were elegantly comfortable!
Really beautiful hotel; the views of the city were simply stunning. Didn't use the outdoor terraces due to weather but they were well maintained. Rooms and public areas were sparkling clean and breakfast was of really good quality and choice. Fantastic location, very central and would highly recommend
All the staff could not have been more helpful, I look forward to staying there again and would have no problem in recommending the Hotel to anyone.
Nice rooms, serviceminded staff, excellent breakfast
The hotel was perfect for my stay in Rome, very close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful with transportation, tour and restaurant suggestions. The hotel accommodations were excellent.

My granddaughter (a soon to be college graduate) and I stayed at Hotel Ponte Sisto for 6 nights in January 2016. Our superior twin room was well-appointed with a large window overlooking the hotel's courtyard. The bathroom was large, clean and always had hot water. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location is superb for walking in Rome - convenient to restaurants and ancient Rome. But probably the best thing about the hotel is its marvelous included breakfast that offers many pastries, bread and rolls, cheese and meat, lots of fresh fruit, juices and coffee and tea.
This is our third visit. We find it exceeds our requirements. We will come again when in Rome.
Amazing hotel with ideal location for all the sites, perfect sized rooms and very friendly staff that do all they can you make your stay as magical as it should be, we will definitely be returning!
We had an amazing stay at the hotel in November. The location is perfect - a charming neighborhood full of restaurants and shops, and walkable to major sites like the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return and recommend to friends!
If you want to spend some time in Rome, in the old city, between the magnificent Campo de Fiori and exciting Trastevere, we stayed the second time at the Pontesisto Hotel, which is anything between magnificent and exciting : we stayed in a big room, nicely decorated, very clean, and enjoyed pleasant service and great breakfast. Good value for money. Arrivederci Pontesisto!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the room with a balcony into the garden was a treat. I will definitely advise my friends to stay in Hotel Ponte Sisto when in Rome!
Fantastic hotel in a great location with super staff and service.

A nice and quiet hotel in central Rome. Here you can sleep with open windows. In summer it must be fantastic with the inner garden and rooftop terrasses. Walking distance to almost everything. Friendly and professional staff.
We had a wonderful stay In October 2015 of 11 nights at Hotel Ponte Sisto, where our daughter and son-in-law had stayed on their honeymoon in 2010. The said how much they enjoyed the hotel, and how great the locations was...and it certainly was fantastic for walking almost everywhere. We were impressed with the maid service and room cleanliness, the servers at breakfast, the always friendly bellmen and the helpful & knowledgable front desk personnel. I have spent quite a bit of time in Roma over many years, and my wife and I look forward to returning to Hotel Ponte Sisto on our next trip!
Love this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Terrific location in an interesting and convenient part of the city. Very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Had a quiet room in a courtyard.
The staff is always most helpful indeed in this very nice hotel.
The hotel service and staff was wonderful. The staff on the rooftop terrace were very friendly.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful! Great location, wonderful room with view of St.Peter's from our balcony and the service was A+. Would highly recommend!
The hotel has an excellent location, near Trastevere, Campo de Fiori and great restaurants. The staff is most helpful. The breakfast is good and the addition of the roof top bar is fantastic. The best of 4 hotels we have stayed at in Rome.
